Arvind Parmar - ESA

I review the current status of ESA’s Science Programme. I focus on the astronomy missions, and how they are selected, studied, built and then operated. I look into the future and present the next generation of astronomy missions, the ones under study and the long-term vision – Voyage 2050. I discuss the importance of international collaboration.  I will outline ways in which scientists can participate in the Programme. This includes accessing raw data and science products through our archives, responding to announcements of opportunity for observing time, membership of the community working groups that various missions have, and responding to announcements of opportunity for new missions.
