    RESEARCH ACTIVITY
My research focuses on X-ray and Gamma-ray emission from binaries, mainly:
  1. Investigation of a unified scenario of the high energy emission processes, with particular focus on weakly magnetised NS LMXBs [e.g.1a], including the development of a new Comptonisation model[1b] and its application to private and archival high energy data [e.g. 1c]. Review of the Galactic LMXB Population anf the contribution of INTEGRAL [1d].
  2. Study of the accretion mechanism in HMXBs, with special focus on Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients[2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h].
  3. Multi-wavelength campaigns to unveil the nature of newly discovered INTEGRAL sources, mainly using Chandra (as PI), but also other available X-ray, radio, optical and infrared facilities [3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f, 3g]
  4. Development and maintenance of an INTEGRAL archive at INAF-IASF Milano [4a, 4b , Dedicated page] & Research Activity
  5. Gamma ray binaries at Very High Energies (TeV) [5a, 5b]
