RESEARCH ACTIVITY
My research focuses on X-ray and Gamma-ray emission from binaries, mainly:
Investigation of a unified scenario of the high energy emission processes, with particular focus
on weakly magnetised NS LMXBs [e.g.1a],
including the development of a new Comptonisation model[1b] and its application to private and archival high energy data [e.g. 1c].
Review of the Galactic LMXB Population anf the contribution of INTEGRAL [1d].
Study of the accretion mechanism in HMXBs, with special focus on Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients[2a,

Multi-wavelength
campaigns to unveil the nature of newly discovered INTEGRAL sources,
mainly using Chandra (as PI), but also other available X-ray,
