I do research in astrophysics. I guess you would say my special fields are the study of compact objects and X-ray astronomy (including observations, their analysis and interpretation).


My main research interests are: Neutron stars (in particular, magnetars and magnetic field, high-energy properties, timing, binary systems, pulsar wind nebulae and supernova remnants). Black hole binaries and ultraluminous X-ray sources (ULXs). White dwarfs in binary systems. Gamma ray-bursts and high-energy transients.
